Tim Last is our Owner/ Manager / Chef at the Junction Motel - Tim is a hospitality "tart" with a wealth of experience through out Tassie, the Big Island, and Overseas as well. He has catered everybody from HRH Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Frederick and Princess Mary of Denmark, Pele, the Renault  F1 racing team to the fellow "Winterer’s" at Davis Base in Antarctica. His "catch cry" is keep it fresh, keep it simple and keep em coming back.  

Breakfast is a fabulous experience, whether sitting in our bright and sunny restaurant or out-doors on our patio with beautiful views across the valley (sorry but restaurant is only open for breakfast between Nov - April) but with room service breakfasts all year round. Our Evening Menu utilizes fresh local produce in beautiful unique dishes inspired by the Ying-Yang style where Asian meets European and yet still has something for everyone.
